The SCITS Music Department provides instruction in Instrumental Band and Vocal technique. Students learn in a large group such as Concert Band or Choir, and from there, branch off into more soloistic work. The large group setting provides students with the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, confidence, problem solving and analysis. Our vibrant extra-curricular program, (Concert Band, Jazz Band, Choir, Musicals), provide students with the opportunity to perform at school functions, music competitions and other community locations. We have a large and active program that welcomes all students, regardless of experience. |
