The SCITS Library

The SCITS Library is a place where all students can find books, magazines, newspapers, and other resources for course work, research, or personal enjoyment. The library always highlights new books, and often highlights a monthly theme. There is a computer lab for accessing online resources and completing assignments. On the walls you will find some selections of local aboriginal artwork. Visit the library sometime! You can find it if you enter through the front doors of the school, walk straight ahead, and then turn down the stairs to the right.

Library Catalogue & Destiny Quest

Our library catalogue is now available online. The SCITS library has over 600 *new books* this year. Visit the constantly updated SCITS Library Catalogue.

In addition, a new resource called "Destiny Quest" is available to students. This feature of our catalogue allows students to rate books, view some book cover images, write reviews, bookmark and store information sources, and browse books on a virtual shelf. It also suggests other books based on the student's searches, with a "You may also like..." feature. Go ahead, visit SCITS Destiny Quest as a guest! (Students may login using their information).

Other Library Resources

At this time we are not able to offer automated remote access to InfoTrac, Electronic Library, or EBSCOhost. You will need a password, available from Mrs. Turnbull in the library, to access these resources. Otherwise, please access these from icons on the school computers.
